@jefeisdguard - How can it be kept inside the building when it HAS to be spread out! The Adhan is a call to prayer! It is to wake people from their sleep, or whatever their doing and remind them that it is prayer time. It is something that has to be heard, it is like an alarm. You cant keep an alarm on silent for the sake of everyone else, can you?

@jefeisdguard - This is not a song. This is something we believe in. I agree that we should all respect everyone's religious beliefs. We don't just listen to the sound, we understand its meaning, contemplate and try to act upon it as much as we can. It is nothing near music.

I work & want some rest. To hear church bells ringing out hymms, songs or Christmas music is one thing but to hear a person droning out what is suppose to be music ... is another.

That is NOISE pollution.

It is like scratching the chalk board with your nails. I dont want to hear it, period.

Just as I have the right to NOT have smoke blown in my face or while I am eating this chanting by muslims at their Mosques s/b kept INSIDE the building NOT heard in an entire neighborhood

ever read islamic books that said you should kill innocent people.

american killled many muslims in iraq all in the name of terrorist and weapons of mass destruction, ofcourse which they did not find. they killed over 150000 people there; in afghanistan they killed more than 1500 people all in the name of terrorist. the fact is terrorist is not supported in islam
