The Christian protesters at the G.A.C. were a troupe of extremely confrontational zealots who usually board city buses to preach to passengers who can't escape. They have all demonstrated that they have no knowledge of anything at all, but they do have one talent; the ability to ignore whatever they dare not acknowledge. This boy demonstrates that very well. I don't know what his real name is, so I'll just refer to him as thick Thicky Thickman from Thicktown, Thickania.

BTW, there is a moment when I made fun of his accent. That was a very dickish thing to do and I'm sorry about that. It was just so irritating when I told him that the serpent couldn't be Satan because it was depicted as a girl. Rather than consider that the serpent might not be Satan, he assumed that Satan must be a girl. Confirmation bias of the highest order -next to Eric Hovind's ilk that is.

There is NO afterlife. Get over it and accept your own mortality.

That's my point, I chose to avoid them all entirely.

id think most people who read the bible with a open mind are atheists who are interested in religion, i only know like one Christian who has read it, and they just did it too reinforce their belief with a closed mind

the impressive bit about the universe is the story of how it was created, saying some dude just made it turns the universe into just a bunch of things that happen too be moving around the place because some god wants them too.

Again, show me that there is an afterlife and I'll worry about it then. Even if you do prove there is an afterlife you still have a rather high hurdle to jump to show that christianity is the correct religion. Why out of the 10,000+ gods humanity has worshipped in recorded history yours is the right one.

dualism is faulty in premise. see: mind body problem

monism has some unknowns to fill in, but it works in premise and there's a great deal of evidence in support of it.

it's the "religion" tag. automated services don't have that much nuance when it comes to topical relevance.

Good luck making one up, look around the universe, a God that made that is not worthy of worship? You would never be satisfied if you think not my blind friend

"If Islam took over the world, we would both agree it's a bad thing. But if CHRISTIANITY took over the world, all would be good"

Does the guy not realize that's a double standard?

If I was to worship a god, it wouldn't be a god that sent someone into eternal damnation simply because I didn't worship them.
