doug, I just love this, but with you so often inserting all 8 half-notes in bars like 7, 8, 23, 27, 28, I can't help thinking bess, bess, bess, bess, you, you, you, you, is, is, is, is... Interestingly this disappears in the up-tempo middle section.

The sheet music I am playing from is just in leadsheet format (Sher Music's 'Standards Real Book pp 51-52). The notation came later - derived from the midi file that I recorded as I played.
