Uniting people and cultures on San Valentin's day

Atlanta, February 3, 2009…The recent victory of President Barack Obama attests to the fact that recognizing and reaching out to the nation’s tapestry of multicultural communities and bringing them together results in success.
El Club de Comerciantes, a business community of startups, entrepreneurs and retailers in US and Latin America, also recognizes the necessity of doing so, and is hosting the “Multicultural Bridge Building Conference” at The Westminster Schools; The event features multicultural leaders from the corporate, business, faith, government, and media communities who will share their insights on bridging the gap.
The participants include representatives from companies such as Macy’s, Fox 5 News, Hispanic TV network Univision, Georgia Department of Labor, Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials, the Latin American Association and multicultural marketing firms with different areas of specialization.
“There are so many aspects to optimizing multicultural marketing in today’s business atmosphere that we felt we needed to share some insights so that companies and organizations can get the biggest bang out of their multicultural marketing programming,” said Hugo Hernandez, President/CEO of El Club de Comerciantes( http://www.elclubdecomerciantes.org) “We are excited to have secured multicultural marketing experts from various corporate entities and communities who will shed light on the opportunities and the challenges, as well as ideas on how to manage both of them.”
Multicultural Bridge Building Conference
Speakers at the conference include experts from Macy's, Fox 5 NEWS and Hispanic TV network UNIVISION.
Key panelists include also Michael L. Thurmond, Commissioner, Georgia Department of Labor and author Gary Unger.

Among conference’s panel discussions will be topics such as “What are the Emerging Multicultural Communities and How to Reach Them,” “Myths...
