Boss octave OC-2 on Bass ODB-3 PH-3

imovie is the software i used.  I went from my Jazz bass in to a GK amp to the direct out on the amp into a firewire recording interface called a firepod into a mac pro. I should have turn it up in imovie but i used no compression so I kept it low so it wouldn't distort turns out to low

I also got a Fender Jazz Bass, a GK amp and an Octaver (but my octaver is a Shin Ei Octave Box). So this is helpfull to me.

You should see if you can get more volume with a preamp or a better sound card.

The Boss OC-3 has an additional input for bass as the Boss OC-2 cuts out the bass sound.
