  • Wonderful to see him laugh.

  • @footballsoccer358 Scientists are all about evidence-- and falsifiable theories that make specific predictions that can be tested. The idea of God is not based on physical evidence & is not a falsifiable claim that can be tested-- therefore scientists set it aside in the category with things like fairies, leprechauns, unicorns, ghosts, alien abductions & other claims that are not falsifiable. It sounds like your beef is not with Hawking, but with the scientific method itself.

  • @Greev84 But your mistake is thinking that solves the dilemma. If you need a 'creator' to explain why something exists instead of nothing, then why doesn't the 'creator' need an explanation as to why he/she (the 'creator') exists. By that logic you get stuck in an endless spiral of ever more powerful and all-knowing 'creators.' Isn't it just simper & more beautiful to say that the universe exists and just leave it at that-- at least until human understanding (physics) advances further.

  • @AbbeyRoadkill1 well but still. It doesn't change the fact that stephen himself still wonders of how and why the universe came to existence. Scientist still have no clue how to explain it. If we have nothing to explain it with and never having proof for it, what else do we have left to use to fill that gap?. Perhaps,, that "something" was behind it all, as in a "creator". For me the biggest reasoning in believing in a creator would be the "something out of nothingness" dilemma

  • He talks about the ability to love.. but if he thinks that we're just created from nothing then how are we capable of love? it just doesn't make sense.. unless there is a God who created us!..

  • Omg I can't believe the comments I'm seeing. It's literally a polar opposite show down. Either way I don't fuck with religious people.

  • @IcyPeanuts I loved seeing him smile after he said "Science will win, because it works".

  • can someone please tell me, calmly and respectively, why is it so hard to accept the idea of god, seek him, and praise him and accept science as one of God's miracles??? have you ideas and beliefs and feel strongly about them. but do not assume you know, do not dismiss a idea because it seems illogical.

  • This nigga retarded. I dont care how smart y'all think he is.

  • To all of you wonderful people who made a comment on Hawking and his theorys,,,,,watch louie giglio's how great is our God and it will open your eyes and set you free..... Louie fixates on the universe from a creation point of view.....and also teaches us about laminin.....a protein that holds us together......and its the shape of a cross....

  • Religion- Security and belief

    Science- Reason and Logic

    Religious People- Ignorant

    Scientist- Rational
