what do you think of the yoga sandals that separate all your toes and have a bit of arch support? I have a pair and I love them (though I wouldn't walk more than a few blocks in them)

Those sandals have a different purpose than the supportive flip-flops that we were testing in the video.
The supportive flip-flops from Montrail or Sole focus more on support, cushioning, and proper foot and body alignment from a biomechanical standpoint.
The Yoga sandals focus more on forefoot conditions, no different than wearing a toe separator, as long as you can tolerate a toe strap/thong between each toe! Obviously it won't fit everyone, nor does it have much of an arch support.
