"DAAR RUIST LANGS DE WOLKEN" Happy Birthday, Mr. Garrett Terpstra! Christian song

This song is a request from Wilbur and Arlys, for mister Garrett Terpstra, who has his birthday today, and is 94 years old now! He was born in the place where I grew up, here in Holland, and so I had to use some of the pictures, although mostly surroundings, because he lives for very many years in California!
The old schoolpictures are from 1929, from the pictures in the book my Mother wrote about the school.

Although my voice falls away so now and than (yes a little ill), I hope you won't hear it too much... I just wanted to do this song for Gerrit, as we write in Dutch!

@zet4321 Hallo, ik vond net dit bericht... dat is prachtig! Toen ik dit zong, was ik erg verkouden, maar ik wilde het graag voor de verjaardag van Meneer Terpstra klaar hebben.

Ik zou het leuk vinden als u me schrijft hoe uw moeder heet.... mijn moeder kent iedereen in de Wilp, denk ik wel! Maar dat is beter in een persoonlijk bericht!

Years ago, in the South Dakota prairies, my classmates & I memorized the first verse to this song. When we sang it in church, the old Dutch immigrants started crying with joy.

Oh, what a special comment you give, yes, I made this song also for a man who lives in California, and was born in the Netherlands, I think he is 92 years old now.

I used images of the village where he came from, I grew up there myself. My voice was not very well, because I was ill than. But he had his birthday, so I wanted to sing it!
