So, does low oil pressure mean a bad oil pump?? Possibly, but not always. Gather some evidence before you condemn a good pump

  • Are you sure that oil filter's only been on that motor for a couple of months. I ain't doubtin your word, but since it's a Fram oil filter, I gotta wonder if they've been gettin it changed at Wal-Mart and they've been drainin the oil out, puttin new oil in, and not changin the filter. That sounds like some crooked stuff that Wal-Mart would do.

  • Hmm i need to try this but ive been wondering why my 87 5.0 mustang sounds weird, it sounds like and old engine out of an f150 it kinda knocks but not too loud, yeah i know f150s had the 5.0 as well but it just sounds like my car should not be sounding like that oh and it has 30k miles on the engine it got rebuilt 3 years ago.

  • @dmorley100 Walmart uses super tech filters, but definitely correct. They removed a skid plate from my mother's Ford Escape and held on to it.. stingy bastards

  • I found the problem at the very Beginning of the video, they used a Fram oil filter

  • they jiffy lube next door always skips changing oil filters i caught them

  • @slowride55 ya very true but some do have the 4.3 unfortunately.

  • A 4.3 in a tahoe? Doesnt seem adequate...

  • frams are fucking junk. i used to use them. they suck. i now use napas gold filter or puralator when im feeling spendy

  • I remember there is a special liquid designed for cleaning the sludge from the lubrication system.

you warm up the engine, add it to existing oil, run at idle for 3-5 minutes then change the oil.
