  • The Bronx is hardly poor and if we do spend on abstract thing invest in the company that makes them like rims, jewlery, clothes, food and etc.

  • taino12..,you're right th "Bronx" isn't poor, but many of the residents are. Sadly because very few people are financially literate, if they do conceive the notion of investing...do they TRULY understand how to? Being a successful investor requires much financial knowledge.

  • You have some good ideas; why isn't the rest of black America thinking strategically like this?

  • bluecafe22...good question? I wonder the same thing...the reason...Genrally speaking we are by and large a financially illiterate people, and seemingly have lost all understanding, if ever possessed, of the value of education and working interdependently.

  • You made alot of good points. If we as a people did a better job of analyzing our cashflow, we would understand it's not as important how you make as it is how much you keep. Then does surplus dollars need to reinvested into things in our communities with INTRINSIC value.
