  • Greetings....I was a pretty lucky young man to fall into the NavCad program at the age of 18. Five tours in 'nam, two in F-8's and three in F-4's....hairy in those days but amazing...never knew what the next day held. I really enjoy this vid/music.

  • As a retired Naval Aviator (F-4's), this is by far and away the best F-14 tribute and it connected me with new music, thanks!

  • Is this footage taken from a fighter fling video or uploaded by the pilot??, best f-14 video on you tube,........ Anytime Baby

  • Fantastic video, I would have given my left nut to have flown an f-14. I don't blame that pilot for having a cheesy grin. Cool.

  • great song!!

  • @angel85555 VF-213 Black Lions was my first fleet assignment (Jan '65) in the Phantom. Our skipper was a mustanger (E-1 to O-5) I was still a young nugget having a new assignment out of VF-111 (F-8 Crusader) ; two tours in 'nam under my belt. He was an incredible CO and I 'grew up' a bunch servng under him!

  • @1proudpinoy We in the F-4 community used to think the Phantom was a 'large' aircraft; however, the TomCat's size made the F-4 look like a kiddy car! Gave new meaning to the words, 'aluminum overcast'

Thanks for being a maintainer for us...you guys did a great job, even at the worst of times! Val

  • @delanyify Blink 182, great group IMO....

  • @Drawnsbyme It is the oxygen/mic connection for the wearer, great question! Connection end point depends on the aircraft. F-14, it is connected on the aux panel on the lower right side.

  • Hey ya'll, listen up.

I've always wondered, where does the tube that comes out of that pilots helm end up? Is there like a oxidgen tank inside the plane? or does it just lead outside?

    Thanks in advance,

    DBM

  • who sang it?
