hi i'm planning on doing YFU korea if my parents agree to it. cuz i want to do the summer one since my parents say going for a whole year at my age is too much -__- but even the summer program costs a lot and they're all about saving money but hopefully they'll change their mind this time! :D haha so anywaysss
for the summer program.. what's the probability that i'll get in? which parts of the application packet do i not need to fill out? like for the summer 1 do they need to know my skool

@chipmunky721 yes they need all of your information. what ever the application states fill it out accordingly, even for the summer. I had to get signatures from vice principals and school numbers etc even though i went for the summer.

@KTKeybladeMaster
ok thank you so much! and sorry for all these questions haha xP
ugh this application process is gonna be a pain if my parents say yes haha but is it worth it? 7,000 dollars for 6 weeks...? and can i still go even if i'm turning 15 in the middle of the program? and like what's the probability i'll get to go to my first choice? (korea)
so i have to go to my dentist, doctor, skool, and everything? + the part asking about your insurance it asks for a signature..do i have to get

@chipmunky721 I think you should go for a scholarship if you are applying for 2012, I know most of 2011's scholarships have closed. :) But, yes it is worth every penny. It was the most AMAZING experience. and the probability of you getting Korea is HIGH :) Most kids get their first choice, especially if you are paying for it. Sense you are going for the summer program i don't think you need to go to the dentist, but you will need to go to the doctor and school and get signatures.

@KTKeybladeMaster
thank you sosos much for taking time to answer my questions! :D
but you still didn't answer if i have to be 15 the day they depart for the program or if it's okay if i turn 15 while the program is in session (my birthday's in the teens of july)...cuz i thought you have to be 15 during the whole thing so i was going to give up going but someone said it's ok to if as long as i'm in high school (??) cuz i think i might be doing summer skool for 2012 summer but idk : /

@chipmunky721 i think just as long as your in high school you should be fine. get on yfu usa's chat room and ask a representative.
