  • Really nice!

I have a question.. What note should be the V° for Bb7alt? This chord is Bb, D, F#, Ab?

And what scale it's using on this chord?

    Thanks a lot!

  • @Cabexudo51 Normally you would play the altered scale, which is the 7th mode of the jazz melodic minor. In this example an E major arpeggio is played, suggesting E lydian. If you're playing the alt chord on the piano you could add all alterations - b5 #5 b9 #9. But on guitar, yes, it's Bb Ab D F#

  • @dantelae Thanks! I just didn't know what alteration use, if # or b.

So.. in piano can I ADD all alterations or should I REPLACE them for the fifth?

  • @Cabexudo51 You can add all of them. The full chord is - root 3 b5 #5 b7 b9 #9

  • What does that H P mean?

  • @rogreening H hammer on P pull off
