Thousands have turned out to welcome The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh to Margate on Armistice Day (Friday 11 November).
The Royal couple came to the town, following an invite from Turner Contemporary, and started their visit in the Old Town to see the regeneration that has taken place there. They were greeted by civic leaders, including the Chairman of the Council, Cllr. Doug Clark, Chief Executive Sue McGonigal, and Community Services Manager, Madeline Homer, and then met local traders.

Its a good job she didnt come to Cliftonville and view the latest hobby of our down and out eastern european neighbours ( and yes it is them for those integrate shouting do-gooders) - throwing unwrapped dirty nappies out of windows all over pavement. Totally disgusting!!
