I worked for Kaiser and everything this woman is saying is common everyday with Kaiser. We are told not to put members through to their PCP. I broken the rules,called doctors on their private lines. I would have to get nasty with nurses and doctors just for them to call the patients back. The advice nurse!! what a joke they just started making clinical notes from those calls in the Georgia region in 2007

I work for Member Services and I do have to say that in order to get the most out of Kaiser you have to know how to use it. I myself know the In and outs of how to obtain what I need when I need it. Member Services is the Member's advocate and usually we're able to light a match under whose ever behind needs a little "PUSH" so to speak. Im open for any questions. I have to be honest a lot of people don't do all they can do before they start complaining but there are those exceptions.

In your sequel you say you have PMR. You should contact the Arthritis Foundation which has been very helpful for people who have PMR. PMR is the misdirection of the immune system with inflamation against most of the body and is quite disabling. Prednisone is the only thing that works in the long run. Throughout the nation, primary doctors take care of this common condition using the same doses of prednisone that you were given. Every person that has this feels your pain and frustration

@unocrzyboy well member services is really bad also, I have made a hundred complaints and they don't even give you the time to call you to see what is going on. They give you pain cocktails that can kill you and if you ask questions I have seen dr's throw fits. so if y ou are member services how dare you come in here and tell some poor lady you have to know how to use them, NO they should give that info to there patients instead of all the games. dummy

Check what the dr's write on there comments in your record, I have found mine are made up, like they said they warned me about taking certain meds but they actually forced me to take the meds. I had 2 dr's throw tantrums cause I asked questions and thought the meds were dangerous for me. People need to get together and start flooding the congress persons with letters and emails about these ppl.

@MySiouxieQ Kaiser cannot change your rates arbitrarily. Only your employer has the ability to choose a new plan. Unless you're self-employed in which case you need to be more careful with what plan you choose.

Kaiser is a pretty darn good system. Look, you have serious illness. Prednasone is a powerfull steroid that they only give you if you have serious problems. You look pretty delerious from the drug. It is a lousy drug. Avoid it if you can.
