WARNING: There is HIGH VOLTAGE inside TV sets. Don't touch the flyback transformer!
As the title implies, this video details step by step how to mod a $5 porta-tv from a thrift store into a perfectly useful monitor. I use it for my security cams. There are thousands of these which will probably be thrown away, and they are all useful if you just make this simple mod. The TV I used is an Avanti TV-45 W but there are literally hundreds of makes and models which all use the KA 2915.
