Quality is an endless journey. For good schools, next phase of the journey is from 'good to great'. For the rest, the journey must begin now. For, quality education is the birthright of every child born on this beautiful planet. The conference has something important to offer to schools at different stages of the quality journey. Let us explore it togther.
The UQSE is situated in a special context -- global concern for quality school education, and Indian policy initiative in moving towards universal quality school education to ensure sustainable development and enriched quality of life.
Development is a non-zero game. Played well, the world can see the 'end of poverty' and move towards sustainable development, but not without meaningful collective efforts. The key to development and quality of life is 'education'; not education of any kind; nor quality education for the few. 'Quality school education for all' is call of the 21st Century. Quality school education must be inclusive.
Increased investment alone does not correspond with the development of quality in education. Something more is needed. Management of quality education needs strategizing; needs fusion of knowledge and synergy. The UQSE 2007 is designed precisely to meet that ambitious end.
This is not one of the many conferences that happen all the time. The UQSE 2007 has a specific agenda. It will bring face-to-face outstanding expertise and knowledge of the scholarly researchers from universities with the rugged experiences of the educational practitioners, and industries that are quietly revolutionizing quality of education. The UQSE provides the most unique opportunity in contemporary times, anywhere in the world, for the participants to exchange notes on quality management in education for refinement of techniques and discovering new ways for continuous improvement.

What do you mean "quality education"? Do you mean that education must be connected with the industries?
