@Midyin i breed mealworms for my bearded dragon and i have had many escape over the past year and i have not seen any beetles in my apartment, i think they just die without anything for food.

I got some of those superworms(mealworms) but one may have escaped....
Should I be worried?

I have Mealworms for my tarantulas, but I accidentally knocked the cup over.
I think one may have gotten away. Should I be worried? I mean one can't do any damage right? can a female lay eggs without a male? am I going to have a Darkling beetle infestation?

One of my Mealworms got away should I be worried? I mean will it become a Beetle, and lay eggs? will it starve to death? or will it become a beetle, and not lay eggs.....
I mean Only one got loose so it would need a mate to lay eggs right?...
I don't want to get evicted...

I just wanted to say that I love your mealworm videos!
I'm going to be breeding my own soon.
I am a little squeamish around them, but I think that'll change, lol!

Ya, your squeemishness will soon go away. I didn't mind the worms as much as the beetle stage. They creeped me out a lot more than the worms. But, even then, I got used to it. We've moved since I did those videos and now I don't have the worm farm anymore. I might start it back up, but the summers get 110* here, so I'd have to do it in the house and I don't think I want to. Good luck with your worms!

Yes, it takes a VERY long time. They have to molt many times before they become pupa.
