I have very much enjoyed your, I understand your fears I have the same, at times I feel so powerless, over food, Keep on the path love your helping me feel that i am not alone.

I am a food addict too. I was where you are now about 5 years ago. You have to be mentally ready & if this is what you need to do, then more power to you. I did 1 last diet before I went forward with the surgery then & was doing really good, canceled that surgery! I actually lost 80 lbs but slowly slid back up to 298lbs (I started the diet at 266lbs). Now that I decided to do this, I realized I needed this tool! Bottom line, you have to be ready!! Good luck to you!

I heard it's more or less a low carb diet... post-op. Not just shakes (that's what you have the first week to 10 days)... The dietician told us we work up to 1200 cals...
