  • why would you come back later to finish charging it? 4 trips for a leaky evap. coil. Times have changed man, cant just stick hand on suction line anymore. i think ya need to read up on the refrigeration circuit my friend. and please stop leaving taped up run capacitors hanging in equipment. I dont thing i can say that enough.

  • @hvacbuck It was cold out!

  • manifold gauge will only tell you that your in a vaccum but not accurate enough to tell you how deep in the unit that you are

  • @thereceman Yup,

  • why did the fan stop running and the compressor kelp running.

  • @kennetters Fan cycling switch. It's a commercial application that often calls for air in low ambient conditions. On the high side (liquid line) schrader is what looks like a high pressure switch. But instead of breaking power to the contactor coil and manual reset, it's actually set at a much lower pressure. On pressure rise, it closes through the fan.

  • You pumped down the refrigerant into the condenser coil below ambient pressure sucking non-condensables into the system, no nitrogen when brazing (produces scale which turns to acid in the system), no micron gauge to verify a proper vacuum, no indoor wet bulb temperature reading to properly calibrate super-heat, and you must over ride the low ambient / fan kit to determine the proper refrigerant charge. How do you know how much refrigerant to charge the customer without a refrigerant scale?

  • @MagicPatrick1 bah. get a heating jacket. run hot water over it.... something. your fired

  • where is your charging scale for proper refrigerant mesurement

  • a micron gauge would help you alont, takes out the guess work. you pull it down to 500 microns it suck just about the right amout of refrigerant it needs

  • Why did the fan stop running and the compressor kelp running.
