Me chanting Daimoku at my altar, Nam Myoho Renge Kyo in a mandala, continuously. It means "Devotion to the Universal Law of Cause and Effect through Sound."

There is a gohonzon, or scroll on my altar with Nam Myoho Renge Kyo in Chinese characters written down the
center, but photos and videos of it are not permitted. This is what I look at when I chant. It represents your life and you are activating it as you chant. If you'd like to a gohonzon, come to the prayer room @ my house, or one of the local community centers. http://www.sgi-siliconvalley.org/03/

You can receive a gohonzon to practice @ your own house. Let me know if you're interested.

Connecting with the universe this way, everyone is able to bring their individual life into harmony with the greater life of the universe. The result of this is that one is able to experience greater wisdom, courage, life force and compassion (the qualities of this life-essence). This, practically, is what it means to manifest Buddhahood, or an enlightened life condition.
