Eternal Sock Monkey Revenge (Cubicle Prank)

Recently a co-worker decided to play a prank on me by hanging my be-loved co-worker. This lead to a path of Cubicle War-Fare.

Text messages between ESM (Eternal Sock Monkey) and Tabitha

The following text messages took place on July 16, 2008

ESM -- You desecrated the Sock Monkey... a terrible fate will befall you!
Tab -- LLLOOOOLLLL!!! Who is this.
ESM - A terrible fate... I am the all knowing and all seeing... you have been warned!
Tab - Sounds like someone from Melissa's camp. Well we have pics of his hanging if the "All Seeing" wants a closer look...they're great!!
ESM -- Pics are not necessary. I know what you did to me... I will return and take my revenge!
Tab -- Bring it on, Wal-Mart has plenty bags! Also, how the hell does a Monkey Sock Puppet get a cell phone contract?
ESM -- Puppet I am not! The all knowing, all seeing Sock Monkey is an eternal creation of your Evil Deeds! I am invincible!
Tab -- Invincible, yet u have to text me?...why not just materialize
ESM -- Gotta keep you guessing and wondering. Only time will reveal my truth
Tab -- Go 2 sleep.LOL
ESM -- Eternal Sock Monkies don't require sleep. Weak human! I'll be watching you...
Tab -- Well you weren't so eternal when u were swingin by your neck from Mel's cubicle...
ESM -- Evil breeds evil. You made me eternal... now you will live to regret it! Ha Ha Hoo Hoo HE HEEH!
Tab -- No, evil people hang monkey sock puppets and not a dam thing sock puppets can do. The only thing that will be eternal will be your humiliation...
ESM -- Perfect.. underestimation the greatest weakness of all
Tab -- Overcalculation of ones ability is another...shouldn't you be on someones foot stuck in a shoe somewhere?
ESM -- Have you checked your shoes recently?
Tab -- Have you checked your neck recently?
ESM -- Unfortunately Eternal Sock Monkey does not have Eternal Cell Phone Battery. But I will be watching you! Closely!

The following text message took place July 17

ESM -- I see you working... E.S.M.
Tab -- I see you hangin
Tab -- The scary thing is, you sent me a text at the very second I googled Monkey Sock Puppet and Mel an email about you...
ESM -- I told you I would be watching! Soon I will have my revenge!
Tab -- Bring it on ESM!
ESM -- Soon...
Tab -- I scorn you, and laugh in your sewn face!
Tab - spit
ESM - Hows your lunch? It has been pleasant not hearing your loud noisy flip flops.

Hours later --
ESM - Hmmm... are you scared? I haven't heard from you in a while...
Tab -- No some of us work 4 a livin
ESM -- I had a job protecting the DEC Planning Bin until I was hanged... Mmmmmm.. Revenge!
Tab -- Well now u are dead... so perform those duties.
ESM -- Not dead. Undead. And my new job is... yep, you guessed it... REVENGE!
Tab -- Oh ok. Whyen are u gonna stop talking about it and start bein about it!
ESM -- Getting anxious, are we? Soon.. real soon.
Tab -- Ha ha ha. I laugh at your threats and do not take them seriously. BTW, I got the note u left on my car, next time get under it and wait 4 me.

~ Side note note on car was not left on Tabitha's car. This was done by another co-
worker.

ESM -- Keep laughing.. Ha Ha Hoo Hoooo He HEEE
Tab -- Oh trust, I will definitely keep laughing. Let me catch your butt at Soffe again and yur getn hung again!
ESM -- I enjoyed your back seat much more..
Tab -- I enjoyed stringin you up by your neck so much more...
ESM -- My Atomic Sock Monkey Army henchman are commited to the cause.
Tab -- Whatever... RELIVE YOUR PAIN!
ESM - That's right Double T, keep on fueling the fire
Tab -- I don't know what Double T is but YOU are about to be Double D.. Double DEAD!
ESM - Undead, remember Dble T?
Tab -- No
ESM - Sweet dreams... sleep VERY soundly.
Tab -- I will because I am not worried. I will dream of many bloody deaths of you!

The following text message took place July 18

ESM -- A new messege adorns your cubicle. Will today be the day I take my revenge?
Tab -- Nope
ESM -- That was just the beginning...
Tab -- Bring it!
Tab -- Whoa!! Well u just BRING IT! It will take more than post it notes and u don't have the nerve! Ha ha ha. I laugh at u
ESM -- Im planning, Im plotting, my revenge will leave you rotting!
ESM -- Hows lunch Dble T?
Tab -- Hard boiled monkey. Why do u ask?

Tab - So wat do ESM's do on the weekend?
ESM - Getting worried, are we?
Tab - Na. Oh I took care of your blow up friend too.
ESM - I know, you keep digging your hole deeper and deeper. Revenge is sweet!

I love it! That kind of stuff was the only thing that kept me sane when I had to work in a cubical.
