Pendleton, like lots of other good towns, is pretty quiet, its asleep. Lets wake it up. We cant hold a Rose Carnival like Portland, nor a Cherry Fair like Salem, nor a Regatta and Naval Pageant like Astoria, but we can give any town on the map cards and spades and win out hands down when it comes to bronco busting.

A uniquely collaborative exhibit celebrating the 100th anniversary of an iconic Oregon event, the Pendleton Round-Up opens at the Oregon History Museum on March 5. This once in a life-time exhibit gives viewers a look at historic artifacts and memorabilia; bringing the experience alive for newcomers, and allowing those who wouldnt miss it, a chance to revel in the nostalgia of unforgettable Round-up moments.
With a mix of authentic Round-Up gear, video clips, prizes and memorabilia, visitors will get a true sense of the Wild West with this new exhibit. Traditional attire, saddles and cowboy hats are just a piece of the Round-Up exhibit. The exhibit showcases stunning historic photography of champions, fans and the many heart-stopping moments experienced over 100 years of rodeo.
