Congressman Hall's meeting packed the Fox Lane H.S. auditorium in Bedford. I would guess 70% of the people opposed the Obamacare health plan. Hall did a decent job of trying to turn the HR 3200 lemon into lemonade. But he didn't look so clever reading off his blackberry. • I have video of this great question...from a different angle in the audience. This was a great Town Hall event to see what our Congressman is made of.

    watch?v=8rGNoZkgXFU

  • Suddenly, John Hall is a victim... And by the way, he wasn't "reading from his notes".. he was reading a standardized answer - and poorly, I might add. (there's your spite)....

  • Tort reform could save the us $200B; standardizing our records system another $200B; incentivizing healthy behavior another $200B.... that's a lot of dough.. Here's another - open up the insurance trade across state lines - that would IMMEDIATELY drop the price of insurance... while promoting "competition" (that's the goal, right?)... they're not interested in cost savings - if they were, these ideas would be the very first place to start. No spite there... just pointing out the obvious.

  • I spent a lot of time looking into what the real cost drivers in our healthcare system are... #1 cost driver is defensive medicine - which will only be solved by comprehensive tort reform... No DEM wants to touch it though.. trial lawyers contribute too much to the DNC... A simple yes or no would have sufficed. I didn't think that asking a simple question would be construed as a "set up".... Would have been nice if he did half as much research as I. I think that's part of his job... No?

  • He is going nowhere in politics and needs refresher on the Constitution Of the U.S.A. Just Another Leftist Robot.

    Let Freedom Ring!!

  • Instead of trying to set up John Hall, why not work with him and strive for a better situation for ALL people. Having such vitriolic tones and intent is not helping anything.

  • Rosie, good for you you set the man up. This proves you can read and research topics. You people should know better, you live in one of the most affluent places in the world. Any discussion on Tort reform is likely to contain lots of jargon and legalese. Promy, all politicians use notes and public meetings. Also, I bet he can spell script and put periods at the end of his sentences.

  • Thanks for the video. How was the meeting overall?

  • This was his response to my question about his position on TORT reform... I spent weeks researching, asked a legitimate question - and this is all he can come up with - not yes I support it, or no I don't... what a clown.

  • Obviously, the fool can read a sscript. Demonstrates there is not an original thought in his head
