This happened last year a pair of Singing Honey eaters built a nest laid eggs and successfully raised two chicks in a plastic tree in my patio.
I did not take any video of the chicks the hen and cock bird were very territorial so I did not want to upset them, I have seen chicks abandoned after human interference with the nest, so I was as discreet as possible when I was around the nest.
I wonder why they chose to nest in a plastic tree ?
Maybe a sign of the times, I am not sure if it's a good sign or not ??
I hope they come back to the nest this year.
So sweet ;0)
