i used to work at a psych hospital like that in the 80s but they have totally raised all the old buildings and left only a small number of more modern ones. one they left standing is the oldest one the 'heritage building' and there was talk of it being haunted . once i was invited to a night time gathering and there were people seated around a room with aprons saying "bla bla bla, so mote it be" i told the person i was with "this is evil" and i ran. i dont think i made any friends there

port arthur is actually a good looking place not like this shithole. cmon champ this aint really a tourist attraction its 4 trespassers who believe in ghosts and all that rubbish. i support a bulldozer

That type of shit happens in every institution even today. Just because something bad happens there doesnt mean we should knock it down take Port Arthur for example. If that wasnt there today we probably wouldnt get any tourists here in Tassie.
Anyway parts of it will be knocked down soon, so I guess you will get your wish.

ward c looks like the heritage building at ponoka psych hospital i used to work there and i suspect some extremely evil experiments were conducted there. i think they were raising children in extremely controlled circumstances and experimenting on their mental development to see how much dominance they could have over them. i suspect some of those suicide bombers in the news are actually people driven to the brink in such places and given a chance to justify themselves by suicidal bombing

the coffee house on Maria Is is a pretty scary haunted place. i would really like to have a look around willow court.

Ok cool, someone suggested Maria Island to me on Wednesday. Might have to go out there once the weather gets better.

The Royal Derwent Side, which is the white buildings isn't that good looking, but the older Willow Court side is beautiful and rich in history. Willow Court Barracks even pre dates Port Arthur. Y couldn't it be a tourist attraction? There was even a article about this actual subject in last Saturdays Mercury.
