Despite how some people might feel, i'm actually glad that WWE didn't bring back the war games simply because they probably wouldn't have done it any justice. I didn't even like the later versions that WCW did in the late 90s. Nothing will compare to these original Crockett War Games matches.

@BigWillMac Elimination Chamber? Yes. Hell In a Cell? No. As great of a match as this is, it doesn't have shit on Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker at Bad Blood 97.
It is better than the vastly overrated Mick Foley HIAC match though.

they should have returned this match already and have a stable of 5 guys or 4 guys and a manager again i mean come on not a nexus or corre but something like the horsemen or the dangerous alliance something for the higher purpose

WWE dropped the ball by not including this match in the Ric Flair/4 Horsemen DVD.

The era of real wrestling and guys who knew how to put on a great match! Unlike the WWE which is nothing more than a soap opera for men.

@Warriospwn: No, in January 1991 WCW broke away from what was left of the NWA. If Vince hadn't bought up the WCW video library nothing would have been done with it.
@thalastpoet: Calling Cena a "white guy pretending to be black" is dumb, only because Dusty was doing the same thing. That was the whole idea behind the Akeem the African Dream gimmick given to the One Man Gang in 1988.
BTW, Shithead HBK with his 1001 excuses for not doing a job would have been blacklisted back then.
