Here's a question for all of you: why do you think the Dems can afford to piss off the left wing, but Republicans can't afford to piss off the right wing? Answer: because while the GOP has drifted further and further right, the Dems have taken over their old turf. The Dems just passed a bill designed by Republicans. They stole it from them, and are gonna beat them over the head with it for years because it's an extremely safe, well-designed bill. First the GOP gave them Bush, now healthcare.

@thechoiceisyours1 - Everyone has heard this ridiculous description of having something "shoved down our throats" enuf! One begins to think the repeated use of it is the sign of a morbid preoccupation with it. For many years Dems have not been in power, and worked within what constraints the process allowed. Grow up - get facts and instead of digging in your heals try helping to improve the Bill.

@thechoiceisyours1 - when a patient is sick, and will not take nourishment when they need it a doctor will subscribe tube feeding. The healthcare system is a sick patient, and no longer responds to being spoon feed! More affirmative action is required and should be taken.

i dont know but isn't this more communism or capitalism than socialism. will anybody get free health care from this ...people are going to be forced to buy from companies who are going to give or already bought off representatives..we were bought and sold by this president just like all the others.he never had any intentions of helping us..

So I can understand why people do stupid shit like this. I'm not saying it's right but I've been to the point where it seems like everyone around me seems like they're hell bent on destroying this country with the way they think and/or vote. Some people just figure scaring them out of office will work quicker than voting them out.

Voting the person out of office that you're angry with only works if can convince all of the idiots out there to quit voting for the same kind of jackasses over and over. As far as Presidential elections go both major parties nominate one of 3 worst candidates every time and most people think if they don't vote democrat or republican they're wasting their vote. As far as congressmen and senators go most people vote with a "there's no substitute for experience" philosophy. (cont.)
