President Saakashvili met various leaders in New York

Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili met with the President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė in New York, where the leaders are attending the 65th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

In the meeting, the two Presidents discussed the development of Lithuanian-Georgian relations and concrete opportunities for bilateral cooperation next year, when Lithuania takes over presidency of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

Lithuanian President reiterated support to Georgia`s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Mikheil Saakashvili also held meeting with the president of Cyprus Dimitris Christofias
. The two leaders spoke about the UN resolution adopted recently about the rights of the IDPs from Georgia`s ocupied territories, Abkhazia and Tskhinvali Region. The document was initiated by Georgian government and the delegation of Cyprus did not vote for it.

President also talked with the interim president of the Kyrgyz
