@TheDubaimuslim Well, thanks for responding and that might be true, but in the absence of a medical condition requiring immediate action, one should have the right to determine what gets cut off their body. I'm a man and I don't think those men doing this would want some one slicing up their nuts. ...

"Sexual control" isn't even a main reason for FGM most of the time. The reasons are based more in conformity and aesthetic/hygiene.

@TheDubaimuslim This is simply a means of sexual control and these defenseless children are looked at as possession of men rather than human beings with the right to self determination to their lives and bodies. These barbaric and backward practices are coming to light and being recognized for what they are not medical procedures, but female genital mutilation. Pardon the pun, but however you cut it, its evil and selfish. Anyway whats wrong with a lil extra labia...

@blucinemafilms We should NOT brand all circumcision FGM. That is wrong. We should distinguish between the circumcision and FGM . Circumcision is nothing but a surgery where only excess labia minora is removed ( or some times clitoral hood too ) .Search for Labiaplasty for this surgery. It is available in UK/US hospitals for $3K . What we should do is to make the surgery legal and give hospitals instructions how to do it.

Thanks for speaking out. Excellent collection of images, some heartbreaking. The "reasons" given for genital mutilation (of both sexes) are only ever pathetic excuses.
