i believe the reason why there is so much hair in the brush is because the denman picks up hair that a wide tooth comb doesnt get. we shed over 100 hairs a day and someimtes they can get tangled in your hair.

I really need to try this. I have a Denman, but the bristles are non-removable. So I'll probably get a Goody knock-off and proceed from there...lol

I ran the denman through my hair once (after I used my fingers and wide tooth comb) and literally felt the hairs ripping out my scalp and it made me cringe, hopefully this will be better....thanks!

I got one today at Sally's it looks like an authentic Denman brush. Thanks for showing this modify technique as my daughter's hair begins to grow and flourish I will use this method!

Is this Denman you have the one with 7 bristles or the one with 9 bristles? And did you buy yours from Sally's?

I have a Denman too, it was had to get the rubber part out that holds the bristles but it can be done. Thanks so much for this video I clicked the link of kimmaytube's channel in her updated detangling video. Thanks for sharing this video with us.
