This song was never recorded by The Feelies. It was found on a secret mastertape that later became "The Good Earth". On the tape you hear Glen Mercer and Bill Million (from the Feelies) playing this song. I found this tape while hiking the Smokey Mountains. My friend Gert felt down from a slippery rock and after i finished laughing i helped him out. Then my eye caught a plastic bag not far from the place my friend did hit the ground.
In this bag i found some books and this tape.
A few years later i recorded this song in black Peru (i was there to buy me a nice hat) together with Francis Goya and some natives. I tried to get the Feeliessound as good as i could. Lucky enough Francis was a Feeliesfan also. Bart Willems (a native) produced the thing a week later back in Lima.
For those who don't know The Feelies, they were the Velvet Underground from the 80's and 90's. For those who don't know the Velvet Underground....they're not old enough or they missed something.
I'm working on a tour together with Francis Goya and Gert. We're gonna play only Feelies songs. Like a tribute. Francis said yes, Gert is thinking about it.
