in my school, french is a compulsory language to study....so one day my french teacher brought this song and wrote the lyrics on the board and we all listened to this song & sang together after that...i gotta say its been two years since that incident but i still LOVE THIS SONG...thanx a lot Mr. Ian..

Il articule comme si c'était un anglophone qui s'exprime mais il dit bien je "saurai" !
Le "e" est une voyelle palatale (elle s'appuie sur l'avant du palais) le "o" est une voyelle vélaire (elle s'appuie sur l'arrière du palais").
Il suffit de prononcer rapidement les deux sons pour voir qu'ils sont très proches et qu'il y a juste le placement de la langue qui diffère.
Jamais une telle bourde n'aurait pu passer dans le texte d'une chanson !

@SomeFrenchGuy78 Certes, mais il a droit à des circonstances atténuantes: à l'époque où il a chanté cette chanson, son séjour aux USA avait réduit son Français pratiquement au néant... Me souviens d'une interview à cette époque... Enfin bref, tout ça pour dire qu'il se plante, oui, mais bon, il fait l'effort, et y a pire, et chez certains c'est pas faute d'avoir vécu aux USA pendant des années xD
