Shit, this was almost as bad and dispicable and embarressing as the New York Yankees collapse in the 2004 ALCS against the Red Sox and the 2007 New York Mets September choke when the Phillies came back on them. But in all fairness the Red Sox still owned the Yankees head to head this year. So the Yankees can choke on that I guesse. So now that the yankees are out, they don't have too much credit for this. But TAMPA.. CONGRATS TO YOU! and also congrats to the Orioles in contributing to it too.

@xhemexx Pretty sure it was much, much worse. losing 4 in a row doesn't compare to going 7-20 and pissing away a 9 game lead. But people will always overreact to playoff losses...

@KiiDSarajevo Well in any event, both the Yankees and Red Sox are drinking alot of CHOKE now. Got to give it to Tampa Bay for making a sort of a spectacle out of the Red Sox and the Yankees in the last month. You can add in there the Tigers offcourse. But I must say, I don't think Terry Francona should be the scape goat, they really are making Terry their goat in all this, and thats unfortunate. I mean the guy led the Red Sox to two World Championships in 4 years after a 84 year drought.

@xhemexx If you're combining both 2004 and 2011, yes. The Yankees this year were the 2nd best team in the league. And I wouldn't call losing 3-2 in a 5 game series a choke.
