This is wonderful! And Jesus IS a laughing matter - in the sense that He Himself has created humor! The more we laugh about ourselves and life in general, the better people we will be.

Isn't this performance available on video" I'd buy it!

I'm grateful that you are sharing him with people there. I typed out some of his writings some years ago for a few and they loved it.
I wish I could find some of his writings online as typing is a chore, not to abuse copyright, (I have bought most of his books) but to publicise.
He has such a deep grasp on grace that only comes to those who have suffered but held on in faith.

P.S. apologies, also, for the seeming double post earlier...I posted my first comment and it wasn't showing...so posted again about 5 minutes later...
sorry, YouTube techie probs.

also Adrian's straight-faced (with a twinkle in his eye), and serious readings of his writings convey a better understanding of the irony and compassion and meaning that he writes with than, sadly, this animated comic, above, does.
I get the fact that humour is great and and God given. However, there really aren't enough gospel and bible centered preachers out there, so save the humour for the moment and preach the bible!

@becmaxify Agree that we need preachers who preach the Bible...no argument there. But my "calling" if you will is as an artist/entertainer/actor. I am not a preacher and this is how God has and is using me to communicate the Good News. Sorry if it doesn't speak to you... but it does to many, and has truly touched lives for the Kingdom. Like it or not we live in an "entertainment culture." This is a legit way to reach people. BTW this is just a preview, you should see the whole show!

and sorry about this, but Adrian's calm and straight-faced readings give much more understanding to the meaning of his writing than this animated comic above.

Hey Maz59,
Thanks for your comments. Please understand that this is a promo for a full-length presentation—words help to move it along and give a feel for total content. I too understand that Adrian's delivery would be quite different from mine, especially in the original British context. However, I have discovered that my approach connects quite well with my mostly American audiences. Not trying to impersonate Adrian, just give my own interpretation to the text. Blessings,
Chuck

hey Chuck, am sorry that it may have given you any sense of insult...I didn't realise that the poster of the video was you, yourself..which only goes to show how off the cuff my comment was, and probably too rushed and insensitive.
Sorry, was feeling particularly grateful to Adrian today having read 'The Visit' last night.

No problem, and not insulted in the least! Thanks for taking a look. I too love Adrian's work! Pity he has not gained a bigger audience in the USA!
