Lol, I do that to tourists in Los Angeles. I get the "Hey do you speak English" thing all of the time. That is usually when I speak with my nicely-developed-by-watching-BBC-One-shows Scottish accent and say everything with big words to make them freak out, or I start speaking in Japanese or Spanish. Depends on my mood.
