Noosa is voted as Australia's Best Walking Town. In a poll organised by Prevention magazine and Seven's national breakfast program, Sunrise, Noosa won as Australia's Best Walking Town—a national initiative that celebrates the health benefits of walking while publicly recognising the country's most-loved areas.

Following an overwhelming response to the campaign which saw over 5,000 readers cast a vote for their favourite walking destination, Noosa was crowned the country's top place to enjoy a brisk or relaxing walk.
