    He did a few shots there. He also wrestled on TV against Toru Tanaka (on their International World Wrestling TV show before it actually became ICW) and did an angle w/ The Iron Sheik that didn't lead to anything.

    I actually think that Backlund carrying those fan made belts, saying he never lost the WWF title & claming to be the "People's Cahmpion" was a pretty good gimmick for Bob to use during this phase of his career.

    Bob Backlund was one of the most credible wrestlers ever....back when credibility meant everything in wrestling. Nowdays wrestling is a bad sitcom.

    LOL. Yeah, Snuka really was a "I do my talking in the ring" type guy. I think there's an interview on you Tube somewhere with Bob saying he would bring out the triple headlocks against Graham.
