The top ranked Texas Longhorns play the 2nd ranked Arkansas Razorbacks, which setup the name "Game of the Century" It turned out to be just that, as Arkansas had a 14-0 in the 4th Quarter, but Texas rallied, got a TD and went for 2 to make the score 14-8, then got another TD soon after. Arkansas started driving it, but with less than a minute less, a Pick was thrown at the Arkansas 21, which sealed a Texas win.

@Navdan87 Joe Paterno was too busy molesting little boys to worry about football. Penn Satate is PSU or Pedophile State University. Plus Texas extended an invitation to PSU to play it off in the Cotton Bowl and PSU chickened out. Haha! So Texas beat Notre Dame. PSU was a joke. Texas would have beat them 60-0.

I was 12 years old when I saw this game on TV. It was a great game. Sorry someone had to lose.A few screen passes by Arkansas would have helped.But, who knows.A lot of what ifs in that game.

Wow...Arkansas QB shot themselves in the foot with those 2 interceptions...They could have won but for those and gutszy play calling by Daryll Royal on 4th and 3 and throwing the bomb...

Man if Arkansas had thrown some screen passes this thing would have been over long ago..Texas was playing a 8 or 9 in the box and blitzing on every passing down.
