The issue of whether a Christian should practice meditation tends to encounter a good deal of controversy, mostly concerning personal opinions and "feelings" about the issue. What does the Bible say about the matter? Does it condemn meditation, or does it implicitly command it?

  • . The assumptions necessary to believe in spontaneous generation and macro evolution have been proven false long ago...oh really?i think you find its the other way round. Where is god when tens of thousands of starving people die each year?where is god when your prayers are not answered?why does god let natural disasters happen?im more inclined to believe there is a devil!!

  • @Kunjurur1 Pasteur demonstrated many years ago that life comes only from life. That's the basis of aseptic surgery and the preservation of foods by sterilizing. The last century of accelerated mutational experiments performed on the fruit fly, contrary to the evolutionists' expectations, have demonstrated there is an upper and lower limit; in other words, one species cannot mutate into another. Evolution isn't science, but a faulty interpretation of data in an effort to deny God.

  • The bible is just tales, just stories made up and certainly exaggerated. As richard dawkins says, you may as well believe there is a giant teapot orbiting the earth

  • @Kunjurur1 Sounds about right, coming from someone who believes God couldn't have created life, but it's possible that space aliens did. The fool (and those who follow him/her) says in his heart there is no God. The assumptions necessary to believe in spontaneous generation and macro evolution have been proven false long ago, and go against observable reality. If you want to talk about exaggerated tales, take a look at an evolutionary text book, not the Bible.

  • Benfaust,

Meditation of the word of God is somethig that has nothing to do with the traditional concept of meditation.

Now, if you want to understand about the word of God there is a condition. You need to be humble. Otherwise you just can't.

  • @Heavenfir The Biblical word translated "meditation", which means to speak and to ponder, is not what I'm talking about here.

  • i truly feel sorry for christians who think meditation is some kind of sin.

  • @benfaust Great comeback...(;-1

  • Thanks for proving my point

  • @KijaniFalseprophet Since I set the video comments to require approval, you got angry when your last comment didn't immediately appear, and went to my channel to post "you're a fraud." Your username makes it clear you really enjoy "exposing" people publicly. I pray you find the wisdom that is from above, which is "peaceable, gentle, willing to yield," because what you're showing is "earthly, sensual, and demonic" (James 3)
