and the automatics will always be slower than a 6spd mod for mod if the 6spd guy knows how to row gears. Once you put a decent converter in the car, its all over for the 6speed guy lol

im not impressed by the C5's times on a 100 shot. My 2.73 geared, stock stall'd bolt on c5 went 11.91@116 on a 1.80 60'. and then 11.41@118.98mph 1.60 60' with a 3400 converter.

@chevyvan10 The stock performance from an SRT4 is the best bang for buck that has ever been sold.....13's bran new factory for under 20K was unheard of before that car

12.5.. that's it? My 04' w/ only an intake and tune did 12.7! That C5 should be in the mid 11's!!

When the 350z came out, you couldn't even buy a skyline in north america! For five years the 350z was nissans top of the line sports car in the USA.
It's not like a turbo setup would have added much to the cost of manufacturing the car. they could have charged $40k+ for it and I'm certain many, many people would have paid it, and it would be regarded as a bargain. Instead, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Ford and Chrysler dominated the mid 2000s because they were shipping cheap cars with forced induction.

Well if Nissan put turbos on the 350z factory than what would be the point of the SKYLINE GTR which is pretty much a Z with a turbo and AWDm they just did it to make money, keep the company, business, name etc....... you know how it is.
