@arainbowify You are correct.. In Korea the are two sets of numbers. The "Native" and the "Sino". The native is used for counting down or telling time.. While Sino is more birth date, quantities.

Korean forms for the number of items ( 5 children, 10 cakes...) and ages.
When you want to say: "It's 12 h 43 min 53 sec" - you must say h with korean forms, min and sec with chinese forms - 열두 시 (12h) 사십삼 분 (43 min) 오십삼 초(53sec).
+하나, 둘, 셋, 넷 and 스물 will be transformed to 한, 두, 세, 네, 스무

There are 2 ways of counting in Korean
This one is chinese form, you use it for dates (이천십이 년 이 월 이십칠 일 - "2012 year 2 month 27 day), telephone numbers (이오사 에 공일삼팔 - "254-0138"), with kg, cm, L, money, addresses and numbers above 100
