I did some engine work to this lovely 1066 and this is the dyno test that I always do to bring the tractor up to operating temperature and maximum Horsepower to check everything over for operation, and for leaks. It is at stock fuel delivery setting and pulled 145 HP. When looking at the dial on the dyno, look at the HIGH scale which are the smaller numbers. The dyno is more accurate using the high scale at higher ratings. Thanks, and enjoy!!

  • This is what you get when u give rednecks money.

  • @thatguycman What do you mean?

  • Wow, that's got to be one of the sweetest sounding tractors around! I'm mainly a John Deere guy but this red beast sounds great. We did have an IH 450 and a Super M on the farm, so I've got some red blood in my veins :) Thanks for posting these videos!

  • Thanks! Glad you enjoy my videos.

  • that is the greatest sound in the world

  • I have goosebumps again and a boner

  • I'm gonna make this my ring tone.

  • International Harvesters are awesome, and are better than the green ones. We have a 706 that runs like a pro.

  • Our 1066 just dynoed 245 HP

  • IH 1066, and 1466 sound almost like Roll's Royce Merlin V-12.

    really nice and smooth.

  • I have a 1066 dual turbo that cranks out 175 hp on the dyno.

  • I commented on your 806 test, this test proves what i stated this tractor would walk away from a 1206. Thank you for the videos would have loved to been there. This was my Dads final tractor and favorite one. We had an 806, 1066, 4166 and a 1486. I think the 66 series tractors where the best ever built but my personal favorite is my old 806. To be honest alway wanted to run a 1206 and 706 just to see the difference.
