@Venom45000VR ... how do you get nostalgia from a year old game?
-
this song would be way better without the synth overpowering the lead guitar

@GalladeRoxas1 But... didn't you read his comment? "Longing to return home" is pretty much the literal meaning. How can you return home if you're already AT home? Think about it that way.
Of course, words are pretty much imaginary anyway so...

Alot of people seem to forget that a hell of a lot can happen in one year. Between when I first got this game and now, I've moved twice and finished two semesters of college. It's never too soon to look back on fond memories.
-
What's up with the classic version then?

I love it all!

@BrawlBRSTMs yea :3

@Luxai Doesn't have to be a game you no longer play. It can be any game that you've played long enough to have fond memories of when you're reminded of it.
I mean, hearing Splash Hill Zone gives me nostalgia even though Sonic 4's less than two years old. :P

@smashbrosfan25 lolk
Actually, nostalgia applies to ANY game you have fond memories of and no longer play. It doesn't HAVE to be from an older console, you know.

@Luxai Literally speaking it comes from the greek words "nostos" meaning "a return home", and "algos" meaning "pain, suffering". I.e, it literally means "a longing to return home", or basically "homesickness". It's also a "bittersweet yearning for the things of the past". It's also "reminiscence of childhood or younger years".

@kopykopykopy Actually I was thinking along the lines of... "BrawlBRSTMs can use a dictionary" .... but that doesn't have the same ring.
