@latinoeastbay What the fudgesickles? You are kidding right? I had a quinceanera, my sister did too. I have tons of cousins and friends who had one, AND we did not end up pregnant and without education. Actually, the tradition is that young girls who behave and are good role models are the ones that get to have a quinceanera. Get off your high horse.

@latinoeastbav Are you kidding me bro? Having this party is not the reason why that a lot of young Latina women end up pregnant. This is something that just adds beauty to our Latino culture. Almost all of my primas have had their Quinces and they still have an education. They are in great relationships, oh yea. And they haven't ended up pregnant either. I know that if my kid asks me if we can make a Quince for her I will make sure that she has a bad ass Quince. She will be ebracing her culture!

@latinoeastbay Why Would It Be A Bad Idea If AMERICANS Do The Same On Their "Sweet 16" && Just Because They Get Pregnant At A Young Age, Doesnt Mean It's Because Of The Party? && We Have Low Paying Jobs Because Most Of Us Are ILLEGAL So Get Your Stuff Straight.

The Quinceanera Event its a very bad idea and BAD Culture, most of these girls end up pregnant by age 17-18 no College education (all was expended at the party)

If they only spend the same energy on their future instead of a Princess party for one day, we will have more educated young LATINA women around, instead we have the same girls doing low paying jobs.
