In the small African country of Malawi, where thousands die every year because of a lack of fresh water, this Biola Journalism student is working to make a difference.
Each summer, Danika travels to Malawi with Water Wells for Africa, a nonprofit organization started by her family. There, she has been instrumental in both building wells and providing the education and resources needed to maintain them.
Biola has given Danika the strong academic grounding that she needs to help effectively run an organization. And Biola's commitment to a distinctively biblical worldview has equipped her with the tools and understanding to spread the gospel — and more effectively serve the world for Christ.
That means she's not just quenching physical thirst. She's providing living water to people in need.

@mikesomething God doesn't hate them. He loves them so much that He was willing to die for them. And just to be gracious, God sent people like Danika to give them water for their physical needs! I call that a loving God!
