Burma's capital is recovering. It was right here, only a few months ago that peaceful demonstrators were brutally assaulted by the regime soldiers. Now there are hardly any soldiers in the streets and no demonstrators at all.

We are here disguised as tourists. Foreign journalists are definitely not welcome in this closed country. Interviewing active opponents of the regime can have serious consequences for those who speak out. Therefore the people participating in this programme are no longer in Burma

  • It's the quiet before the storm.

It's horrible, that a single man can come out and form an entire government, and put everyone in their country into a poverty-stricken country? How can you be that egotistical?

I imagine there will be a serious uprising before too long, and the country's gonna be having some problems for a little while.

  • Excellent analysis. Worth carefully watching!

  • To learn more about the monk leader and the Sikh protest leader interviewed in this great video, google "Jotman"

  • The Panjabi Burmese man speaks Burmese with a really nice accent. Actually his accent sounds quite alot like a Karen or Shan accent.

  • Shame on Burma regime. They are supported by the Chinese government. Shame for attacking monks.

  • What happened to the Tibet video?? I wanted to see that.
