The freedom tower is well over 1,000 feet tall and is the tallest in Lower Manhattan. Do you really think they are going to stop that and start all over and build the twins again? Besides, the families of 9/11 victims probably won't be able to stand seeing those towers again.

@FunkyGranny9 They would not start over they would just cap the freedom tower and instead of building the planned tower 2 and 3 they would put the Twin Towers II there and 9/11 families want the Twin Towers II more then the freedom tower that's what I saw somewhere i think on the Twin Towers Alliance website
