Great video, you are right on about the bungees; I've been trying to get my soldiers away from using bungees when we go to the field.
Cheers from 101st Airborne

thanks for the demo; I always appreciate it when a business goes out of its way to educate its consumers. Having said this, please look up a power cinch knot - operates much the same way but you can cinch the rope tight as a guitar-string and tye it off with two half-hitches and it wont go anywhere. Very useful knot. Clever idea though for a gadget.

I do use the bivi poles, however i don't have to put a tree back in my bergen when it's time to move! Always a bonus! It'd probably be worth your time adding to the review or typing up here/on your website how to secure the thing to a tree, as i'm unlikely to be the only one to wonder about this.
Cheers.

Very useful little thing! I like it alot. 5/5
Nice, i can see how the para cord would give less stretch than my bungees. However, in a situation when I would whip a bungee around a tree and hook it back onto itself , i can't see how this system would work without untying the lock it, which clearly wouldn't be a great solution. Any ideas?

Hi Bob
Thanks for the constructive comment.
Of course theres pay offs anyway you choose to use the Line Lock. This said 9/10 most service men and woman use bivi poles. Having said if the opportunity arose, I too would use a tree rather than a pole. I have just dived outside in the rain and managed to work out a method of securing the cleat around a tree. To this end I could redo the demo, or you could send me your details and I could phone and explain how I did it. Andy

When your a Royal Marine in Norway at 3.00am and its minus 20c, a cleat, when wearing gloves, is a better option than trying to knot !

PS Now run along and learn to spell the word proper.

Hi Again Bob, Really good to get feedback. If the lock-it is attached and adjustable at the bivi end, you could take the other around the tree, secure it and then tension it from the bivi? If this brief explanation isnt clear I will speak to the team on Monday and discuss adding it? Cheers Andy
