I live in Asheville NC and this is a Motorola syntor X9000 that I have put 10 and 6 meter HAM radio frequencies in. We had a huge band opening today and am demonstrating the 10 meter side of this radio. The radio will do 29-54 MHz and everywhere in between.

  • How did you program the x9000? I have two I am trying to program for use on ham frequencies and I cant find any information on programming these radios.

  • The 29.62 machine with the "ting" is the KQ2H repeater here in upstate NY, output is somewhere around 1000 watts. It is part of a network of machines here ranging from NYC to upstate NY, including inputs on 2 meter, 440 , 6 and 10...an amazing system. The 10 meter link has had a TON of south american check ins the last few months. 73s KB2GQZ
